Our Relax & Unwind oil blend contains three incredible essential oils used to help you to switch off, relax & unwind.
Lavender– Regarded as ‘the universal oil’ due its efficacy in treating many health conditions, Lavender oil is an excellent oil for relaxation. It has an earthy, sweet and fresh floral scent, which has a calming and soothing effect on the body. Lavender oil also has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antidepressant and sedative properties that relieve a headache and pain, helps with insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, mental clarity, and nervousness. Studies have shown that using Lavender oil helps boost the body’s immunity and cell regeneration.
Lemongrass – The calming and mild smell of lemongrass oil is known to relieve anxiety, irritability, and insomnia. The sedative and hypnotic properties of lemongrass oil can help to improve the duration and quality of sleep.
The scent of lemongrass also has an effect to the human senses. It helps you calm down and relieves your stress and even insomnia.
Bergamot - Bergamot essential oil is used primarily for relaxation (its exquisite scent has unisex appeal and is popular with both men and women). Bergamot oil is known as "Natures Prozac" as is one of the most popular aromatherapy oils to help ease work-related stress, over-emotional feelings, depression, tension, and physical and mental agitation. It can also be used when overwork or pressure affects the stomach and digestion.
How To Use:
Diffusers/Oil Burners – burn the oil mixed with water
Massage – Dilution required before use on skin
Bath (add 3-5 drops)
Make your own… can be used in homemade candes, wax melts, soaps etc
Never use pure oils on the skin without diluting, never use internally, keep away from children and eyes, always check if there are any medical issues which could cause a problem. Seek help if you have any doubts.
